Notes

'Premier' autumn crocus (Colchicum 'Premier') is a bulb for borders. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. The light mauve-pink flowers have white centers and open from early to late autumn, and bees visit them. Deer rarely make it their first choice. J.J. Kerbert bred it.

Pairs well with Switchgrass, Burnet, and Royal Purple smoketree.
