Notes

'Princess Chiffon' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Princess Chiffon') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It bears large, ruffled, fragrant, semi-double pink blooms in early to mid spring. The stems are strong and grow about 3 feet tall. Toichi Domoto bred it.

Pairs well with Wild geranium, Greig's tulip, Christmas fern, and Jackmanii clematis.
