Notes

'Prinses Irene' iris (Iris 'Prinses Irene') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. The standards are creamy white, and the falls are saffron yellow with a golden orange blotch.

Pairs well with Lemon thyme, Feather reed grass, and Ornamental onion.
