Notes

'Purple Beauty' iris (Iris 'Purple Beauty') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil. The standards are dauphin's violet and the falls are dark bluebird blue, and it blooms in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Feather reed grass, Mountain mint, and Ornamental onion.
