'Queen's Circle' iris (Iris Queens Circle) is a perennial for borders and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy or loamy soil. It blooms in spring and again in summer, and butterflies visit the flowers. It grows 24 to 36 inches tall and handles dry spells well. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits.
