Notes

'Rill' iris (Iris 'Rill') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, containers, and rain gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet soil. Blue flowers with pale blue and white styles open in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. It grows 24 to 30 inches tall and wide. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits.

Pairs well with Cinnamon fern, Spotted joe-pye weed, and Sedge.
