Notes
'Rosalie' common hyacinth (Hyacinthus orientalis 'Rosalie') is a bulb for borders, containers, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant, pale pink flowers open from early to late spring and attract bees. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Eggink Bros. introduced it.
Pairs well with Greig's tulip, Coralbells, and Karl Rosenfield peony.
