Notes

'Rosea' lavender (Lavandula angustifolia 'Rosea') is a perennial for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Pink flowers open in early to late spring and again in early to late summer, and bees and butterflies visit them. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. The grey-green evergreen foliage forms a compact mound.

Pairs well with Magnus coneflower, Karl Foerster feather reed grass, and Jackmanii clematis.
