'Secret Rites' iris (Iris 'Secret Rites') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Its fragrant flowers appear in early to late spring and again in early to late summer.
