Notes

'Sharon Roberts' lavender (Lavandula angustifolia 'Sharon Roberts') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, rock gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy or loamy soil. The fragrant, mounding plants bear violet-blue blooms from early to late summer and again in early autumn, and bees and butterflies visit them. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Dr. Don Roberts bred it.

Pairs well with Magnus coneflower, Blue fescue, and Eden rose.
