Notes

'Sharp Dressed Boy' iris (Iris 'Sharp Dressed Boy') is a perennial for the front of the border, pathways, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil. Warm purple and lavender-purple flowers carry bright orange beards and bloom again later in the season. Rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Divide the clumps every two to three years just after blooming.

Pairs well with Sedge, Catnip, and Carlton daffodil.
