Notes

'Sheila' common hyacinth (Hyacinthus orientalis 'Sheila') is a bulb for borders, containers, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant pale pink flowers open in early to late spring and attract bees. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Greig's tulip, Coralbells, and Karl Rosenfield peony.
