Notes

'Silver Scimitar' pulmonaria (Pulmonaria 'Silver Scimitar') is a perennial for edging borders and pathways. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade. Pink and purple-blue flowers open in early to late spring and attract hummingbirds and bees. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. Large, wavy-edged, silver-green leaves form a tight mound.

Pairs well with Coralbells, Ostrich fern, Snowdrop, and Hardy geranium.
