Notes

'Skyrocket' Rocky mountain juniper (Juniperus scopulorum 'Skyrocket') is a tree for hedges, privacy screens, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It sits low on the menu for deer. It grows slowly into a tall, narrow evergreen column. Birds and butterflies visit it, and it tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Snowberry, Kentucky bluegrass, and Grape hyacinth.
