Notes
'Snowflake' oakleaf hydrangea (Hydrangea quercifolia 'Snowflake') is a shrub for borders, specimen plantings, woodland gardens, and shade gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows slowly into an erect shrub that reaches about 6 to 10 feet tall and wide, so give it room. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit it, and the blooms are fragrant.
Pairs well with Annabelle hydrangea, Lilyturf, and First Knight fountain grass.
