Notes

'Sparkle' iris (Iris 'Sparkle') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, containers, and rain gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet soil. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Blue flowers open in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. It grows 30 to 36 inches tall, so it works well toward the back of a bed.

Pairs well with Spotted joe-pye weed, Cinnamon fern, and Sedge.
