Notes
'Sugar Mountain Eisbar' honeyberry (Lonicera caerulea 'Sugar Mountain Eisbar') is a shrub for hedges, food gardens, and low maintenance planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It bears fragrant flowers in spring and summer, and birds visit it. It also tolerates drought once established.
Pairs well with Miss Kim lilac, Sedge, and Carlton daffodil.
