'Suntastic' sunflower (Helianthus annuus 'Suntastic') is an annual for borders, containers, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is not cold-hardy and will not survive freezing temperatures. This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It grows fast, stands upright, and tolerates drought. Deer tend to browse other plants first. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit the blooms.
Pairs well with Red Cherry French marigold, Cerise Queen yarrow, and Red fescue.
