Notes

'Tall' sunflower (Helianthus annuus 'Tall') is an annual for borders, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. Frost will kill it, so set it out only after the last frost in spring. This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Deer tend to pass it by. It grows fast and stands erect, and it handles dry spells well. Butterflies, bees, and birds all visit it.

Pairs well with Apricotta cosmos, Black Velvet nasturtium, Zucchini, and Red fescue.
