Notes

'Tangerine' amaryllis (Hippeastrum 'Tangerine') is a bulb for borders, containers, cut flowers, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. It blooms in early to late winter and again in early to late spring. It is drought tolerant and stands about 17 inches tall.

Pairs well with Pansy, Society garlic, Mondo grass, and Snapdragon.
