Notes

'Texas Gold' iris (Iris 'Texas Gold') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. The chrome yellow flowers have an orange blotch and open in early to late spring and again in early to late summer.

Pairs well with Feather reed grass, Avens, Ornamental onion, and Black Baccara rose.
