Notes

'Tiffany' oriental poppy (Papaver orientale 'Tiffany') is a clumping perennial for borders, cottage gardens, cut flower beds, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It blooms in spring and again in summer, and it handles dry spells well. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Ostfriesland sage, Lady's mantle, and Purple Sensation ornamental onion.
