Notes

'Tiki' Japanese pieris (Pieris japonica 'Tiki') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, specimen planting, and foundation beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It grows slowly into a dense, evergreen mound. Fragrant flowers open from early to late spring.

Pairs well with Fire Island hosta, Korean spice viburnum, and Blue fescue.
