Notes

'Tokyo' iris (Iris 'Tokyo') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil. The blue-violet flowers open in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. I.V.T. bred it.

Pairs well with Wild geranium, Japanese forest grass, and Feather reed grass.
