Notes

'Wavelength' iris (Iris 'Wavelength') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil. Violet flowers open in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. It stays small at 6 to 12 inches tall and wide, so it also works as an accent.

Pairs well with Lady's mantle, Angelique tulip, and Fire and Ice hosta.
