Notes
'Whispering Spirits' iris (Iris 'Whispering Spirits') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil. The white blooms are marked with violet and magenta and open in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It grows 24 to 36 inches tall and tolerates dry spells.
Pairs well with Fire and Ice hosta, Mount Hood daffodil, and Incrediball Blush smooth hydrangea.
