Notes
'White Temptation' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'White Temptation') is a shrub for borders, cut flower use, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant white flowers are double and ball shaped with narrow purple flares. John and Dot McFarlane bred it, and the stems are strong enough to hold the blooms.
Pairs well with Incrediball hydrangea, Guacamole hosta, Sedge, and Greig's tulip.
