Notes

'Wild West Wind' iris (Iris 'Wild West Wind') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil. The tan standards and gold falls bloom in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. It grows 24 to 36 inches tall and tolerates dry spells.

Pairs well with Fire and Ice hosta, Pinky Winky panicle hydrangea, Angelique tulip, and Sensitive fern.
