Notes

'Aim True' iris (Iris 'Aim True') is a perennial for the front of borders, pathways, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil. Golden yellow petals with bright orange beards open on six inch stems in early to late spring, and the blooms are fragrant. Rabbits tend to nibble other plants first. Divide the clumps every two to three years just after blooming.

Pairs well with Nepeta, Carlton daffodil, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
