Notes
'Alfresco' amaryllis (Hippeastrum 'Alfresco') is a bulb for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. The fully double white flowers have yellow-green centers, and Hadeco (Pty) Ltd bred it. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Its low care needs suit busy gardeners.
Pairs well with Agapanthus, Mondo grass, and Stock.
