Apache Warrior iris

Notes

'Apache Warrior' iris (Iris 'Apache Warrior') is a perennial for borders, pathways, and rockeries. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil. Buttery yellow-golden standards sit above bronzed orange-brown falls with a golden beard. Rabbits tend to pass it by. Divide the clumps every two to three years just after blooming.

Pairs well with Nepeta, Carnation, and Panicle hydrangea.
