Notes

'Artemis' iris (Iris 'Artemis') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil. The rose-purple flowers have imperial purple veins and a dark blotch on the falls. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. It blooms in early to late spring and again in early to late summer.

Pairs well with Wild geranium, Feather reed grass, and Green and gold.
