'Azure Beauty' iris (Iris 'Azure Beauty') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil. It blooms in early to late spring and early to late summer. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. The flowers have hyacinth blue standards and French blue falls with a narrow yellow blotch.
Pairs well with Clary sage, Feather reed grass, and Green and gold.
