Notes

'Bruno' sneezeweed (Helenium 'Bruno') is a perennial for pollinator gardens, cottage gardens, and rain gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to wet soil. Mahogany red petals surround a bronze center, and butterflies and bees visit the blooms. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Plants bloom in summer and again in autumn.

Pairs well with Spotted joe-pye weed, Fanal astilbe, and Little Hottie panicle hydrangea.
