Notes
'Byoux' amaryllis (Hippeastrum 'Byoux') is a bulb for borders, containers, cut flowers, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Jac.J. Mense bred it. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.
Pairs well with Society garlic, Mondo grass, and Spurge.
