Notes

'Christmas Gift' amaryllis (Hippeastrum 'Christmas Gift') is a bulb for borders, containers, cut flowers, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Each 23 inch stem holds an umbel of 4 white flowers with a soft green throat, and the blooms measure 8 inches across. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Jac.J. Mense bred it.

Pairs well with Greig's tulip, Mondo grass, and Society garlic.
