Cinzia lenten rose

Notes

'Cinzia' Lenten rose (Helleborus hybridus 'Cinzia') is an evergreen perennial for shade gardens, woodland borders, and under trees and shrubs. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist soil. Large white flowers with yellow centers rise above dark green leaves in late winter and early spring. Each stem bears two to three flowers that open in succession, so the show lasts longer. Deer rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Liverleaf, Western sword fern, and Gladiator ornamental onion.
