Notes

'Darjeeling' sunflower (Helianthus annuus 'Darjeeling') is an annual for borders, cut flower gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is not cold-hardy and will not survive freezing temperatures. This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Deer tend to browse other plants first. It grows fast on erect, branching plants and bears fully double chocolate blooms. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Daydream cosmos, Brocade French marigold, Cerise Queen yarrow, and Red fescue.
