Notes

'Double Dream' amaryllis (Hippeastrum 'Double Dream') is a bulb for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Willem M.V. van Velden bred it, and it grows 12 to 24 inches tall. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Flowers can open in spring, summer, or winter.

Pairs well with Agapanthus, Snake's head, and Azalea.
