Notes

'Folgate' lavender (Lavandula angustifolia 'Folgate') is an herb for borders, pollinator gardens, rock gardens, and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Its fragrant flowers attract butterflies and bees. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Blooms come in early to late spring and early to late summer.

Pairs well with Helene Von Stein lamb’s ear, Berggarten sage, and Creeping thyme.
