Notes

'Lydia' amaryllis (Hippeastrum 'Lydia') is a bulb for containers, borders, cut flower arrangements, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows about 14 inches tall and blooms in early to late spring and again in early to late winter. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Drought tolerance makes it easy to manage.

Pairs well with Society garlic, Mondo grass, and Anemone.
