Notes
'Majestic' amaryllis (Hippeastrum 'Majestic') is a bulb for borders, containers, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows about 26 inches tall and blooms in spring and winter. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Cut the tall stems for indoor vases.
Pairs well with Society garlic, Mondo grass, and Azalea.
