Notes

'Mrs. Montefiore' amaryllis (Hippeastrum 'Mrs. Montefiore') is a bulb for borders, containers, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. The large white flowers are streaked with crimson and scarlet and have greenish yellow centers. J. Veitch & Sons bred it.

Pairs well with Society garlic, Mondo grass, and Azalea.
