Notes

'Nana' Japanese garden juniper (Juniperus procumbens 'Nana') is a shrub for rock gardens, ground cover, borders, and foundation plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average soil of most types. It grows slowly into a low, wide evergreen mat. Deer tend to pass it by. It tolerates drought and salt, so it suits tough, low maintenance spots.

Pairs well with Blue fescue, Woolly yarrow, and Greig's tulip.
