Notes

'Saturnus' iris (Iris 'Saturnus') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil. The flowers have whitish blue standards and ivory white falls with a yellow blotch. It blooms in spring and again in summer. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Munstead lavender, Feather reed grass, and Black Baccara rose.
