Notes

'Snow White' Indian-hawthorn (Rhaphiolepis indica 'Snow White') is a shrub for hedges, privacy screens, foundation plantings, and specimen use. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. White flowers open in early to late spring and again in early to mid summer, and bees visit the fragrant blooms. Deer rarely make it their first choice. This dense evergreen grows fast and tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Loquat, Mondo grass, Carolina jessamine, and Vermillionaire cuphea.
