Notes

'Conor' Indian-hawthorn (Rhaphiolepis indica 'Conor') is a shrub for hedges, foundation plantings, privacy screens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. This dense evergreen grows fast and has fragrant flowers from early to late spring that bees and birds visit. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Southern magnolia, Mondo grass, Carolina jessamine, and Pineapple sage.
