'Spartacus' amaryllis (Hippeastrum 'Spartacus') is a bulb for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It grows 12 to 24 inches tall. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It is drought tolerant once settled in.
Pairs well with Festiva Maxima peony, Society garlic, and Lemongrass.
