Notes

'Sun Doll' iris (Iris 'Sun Doll') is a perennial for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. It grows 6 to 12 inches tall and wide, and it bears yellow blooms in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. It also tolerates drought.

Pairs well with Sum and Substance hosta, Red Riding Hood tulip, and Pinky Winky panicle hydrangea.
