Notes

'The Giant' autumn crocus (Colchicum 'The Giant') is a perennial for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It blooms from early to late autumn, and bees visit the flowers. It also tolerates drought.

Pairs well with Monch tartarian aster, Frosted Curls sedge, and Lilyturf.
